What to get mum for Christmas. It is always a hard one, especially if you have a mum like mine (or like me really haha), where they buy themselves everything they need. So it doesn’t leave much to buy as gifts. So I thought I would share a few of the gifts we have bought for our mums, and some of my gifts!
Nice Slippers
All mums love slippers, fact! So it can be nice to splurge a little and get them a nice pair that they wouldn’t usually treat themselves to. I am a huge fan of Ugg Slippers, I have had most styles. When I saw these Fuzette slippers, I just had to have them! I was lucky and got them a little early for my December birthday 😉 I can confirm they are like walking on a fluffy cloud. So Dreamy.
Something Meaningful
Mums love a thoughtful gift. They are the ones that cherish birthday and Christmas cards and actually read the words. So this handmade jar from Samrah Creations is the perfect gift. There are lots of different text and quotes you can choose from. You can choose to include a little set of battery lights, so that it gives off a beautiful glow!
Sweet Treats
How about her favourite sweet treats? A box of nice chocolates or biscuits. Or you can get her something a little bit more special… These jars of Gourmet sweets from Ask Mummy & Daddy are so yummy! They come in lots of fun and different flavours, such as: Strawberry Cheesecake, Black Forest Gateau and even Gin & Tonic!
Make-up Brush Cleaner
So she already has all of her favourite make-up, she has already bought herself new brushes. But what about a nice Make-up brush cleaner? Something she may not have thought to buy herself. This Make-up Brush Cleanser Kit from Donna May London would make the perfect Christmas gift. It comes in a cute little pouch and is Vegan and & cruelty free.
Sentimental Jewellery
Once you have kids, sentimental jewellery means more than any fancy designer name. The first Christmas after I had Zac my husband bought me a necklace from Itsy Bitsy Imprints. It had 2 hearts, one with Zac handprint and one with his footprint. It was the most special piece of jewellery I owned and I wore it every day! This year I have updated it to add in Elsies handprint. All the items from Itsy Bitsy imprints are hand crafted in the UK by a lovely small business. They offer a huge selection of Products and you can choose to engrave handprints, footprints, finger prints or even paw prints! They make the most beautiful & precious keepsake jewellery.
I hope this blog has helped to give you some gift ideas for mum this Christmas! Thank you for reading.
Merry Christmas!
