Fathers Day 2020 in the UK falls on Sunday 21st June. This year it is going to be quite different because of the current pandamic and lockdown/social distancing measures in place. It may mean we may not be able to visit or give gifts to our dads in person, and we may not be able to go out shopping for gifts. So I have put together this Fathers Day Gift Guide which has lots of gift ideas that you can order dad online!
Gifts for Gaming Dads
Ricky is really into gaming (aren’t most men these days *eye roll*). Like most men he plays the same game, or has already bought himself the latest version – because obviosuly that can’t wait, they have to be bought on the day of release. So that rules out buying any games as a gift.
So I started looking into other gaming related gifts and accessories.
He loves to have his little gaming set up, so I thought this sleek headset/headphone stand from Lamicall would be the perfect addition.
It is really modern and doesn’t take up a lot of room.
Some other Gaming gift ideas for dad:
Novelty do not disturb I am gaming socks
Paladone retro Playstation gaming lamp
Alcohol Fathers Day Gifts
If there is one thing that is very much needed by parents during this lockdown, it is alcohol!
Funky Pigeon have some great Alcohol gifts for dads this Fathers Day. They even have options for you to be able to personalise them for an extra special touch! I chose this bottle of red wine for Ricky, I thought not only is it a practical gift that will be get used, but it is also quite funny and light hearted!
Some other Alcohol gift ideas for dad:
Th Artisan colour changing gin kit
Gifts for Coffee Loving Dads
As parents we are surviving on coffee most days, it is what gets us through the day. So caffeine related gifts are often much appreciated!
If you are looking for a slightly more extravagant gift this Fathers Day then I would highly recommend the Swan Esperesso Machine.
Not only does it look great, but it really does make the best coffee!
Some other coffee related gifts for dads:
Coffees of the world gift set from Whittard.
Gifts from the Kids
I absolutely adore this personalised book from Hooray Heroes. It makes the best gift for Father’s Day if you have small children.
I chose the Fathers Day edition, called You’ll Always Be my Little Boy. They have a daddy and daughter version too! You can completely personalise the book yourself from the appearance of the characters to the short stories inside.
You can even personalise the book with a heartfelt dedication at the start. They have some pre written poems you can choose from, which made me feel all emotional reading them!
Zac was so excited when I showed him the book (just look at his little smile), he instantly recognised the characters as “Daddy and Zac”.
Some other heart warming gifts for dad:
Socks personalised with childs drawings
Our 1st Fathers Day matching tshirt and babygrow
Gifts for Music Lovers
Ricky is really into his music, he can’t do most tasks without listening to it. So thesewireless earphones from Sudio are perfect!
I have had a little play before wrapping them up, and the sound quality is fab! They are really comfortable too.
The case is compact and also acts as a portable charging station!
I think Ricky is going to love these! They are perfect for busy dads who like to listen to music while they work, or those into their fitness and listen to music while working out or going for a run.

Small Novelty Fathers Day Gifts
Who doesn’t love a small novelty or token gift. These cute little personalised photo keyrings from Funky Pigeon are the perfect gift for grandads this Fathers Day.
All grandparents love personalised photo gifts, even more so during current conditions where they may not be able to see grandchildren as often.
So these keyrings make a lovely, practical gift that will get used often and act as a reminder of the little people in their lives. They were really easy to personalise and order online and the I was impressed with how quick the delivery was too!
Other small token gifts:
So whether you are looking to splash out and treat dad this year or gift him a thoughtful and sentimental gift, I hope this Fathers Day Gift Guide has given you some ideas!
