We were recently sent the Hizero All-in-One Floor Cleaner to test and review. I was slightly sceptical at first, I already had a pretty good hoover, and an electric mop. Would it really make much difference? Would I actually need it? But I can honestly say I would not be without it now! I feel like every parent about to begin a weaning journey needs one.
What is the Hizero All-in-One Floor Cleaner?
So what is the Hizero Floor Cleaner? It is the world’s first all-in-one cordless hard floor cleaner, perfect for cleaning ALL hard floors: tiles, timber, laminates, hybrid floors, vinyl, polished concrete, marble and cork (you name it, the Hizero can clean it!). How does the Hizero Work?
Simply: using a lot of clever technology!
Hizero doesn’t use any suction or air but instead has a super absorbent Polymer roller, which emulates the way animals lick up liquids and solids!
The Hizero has two water tanks:
- A clean water tank that you fill with a mixture of water and the Hizero HygieneClean™ Customised Cleaning Solution
- A dirty water tank (pretty self explanatory!)
It uses dual flow technology so that it never mixes clean and dirty water.
Its clever design means that the Hizero automatically separates solid and liquid waste. Solid waste, dust and dirt is collected in the solid trash tray at the base of the Hizero. Whereas all liquid waste is collected in the dirty water tank. Both of which easily clip out and can be quickly cleaned after each use.
Is the Hizero easy to use?
It couldn’t be easier! You simply push it back and forth, just like you would a vacuum. As you push the Hizero forward it will ‘sweep up’ any mess or dust. Then as then as you pull it backward it mops, while absorbing the moisture to leave the floor drier than regular mops. It lasts for for a whole hour on a single charge too!
Cleaning is also really easy. As mentioned earlier, the solid trash tray and dirty water tank quickly pop out so you can clean them after each use. I was pleasantly surprised with how easy the trash tray was to clean. This was one of my worries before using, I didn’t want to end up having to clean lots of gunky mess every time I used the Hizero. But as it separates the solids and liquids, it easy to just tip the waste into the bin and then give it a quick rinse.
The polymer roller uses self-cleaning roller technology to ensure that the roller is always clean and dirty water is not circulated.
If using the Hizero regularly it is recommended you give it a ‘deep clean’ regularly. But it is really easy to do and they have a handy video to show you how to do it:
How the Hizero has changed my life (not even being dramatic)
Like a lot of parents I HATE weaning. I would dread every meal time and try to avoid messy foods that could be launched at the floor. I would spend ages on my hands and knees picking up bits of food, hoovering crumbs and the mopping (or more often than not, using baby wipes) to clean. 3 meals a day – that’s a lot of cleaning. But now all I need to do is quickly run the Hizero around and it does it all in one! Not only that but it is HYGENICALLY CLEANED, much better than a quick scrub with a baby wipe! She can tip a whole bowl of soggy cereal onto the floor and the Hizero will sweep up the cereal and mop up the milk! If only they could also invent something to clean the messy child after meal times too!
In conclusion, I would highly recommend the Hizero All-in-One Floor Cleaner for all families with hard floors! I wish I had this when I was weaning with Zac!
