We have very kindly been sent a Lollipop Smart Baby Monitor to test out and review. I was so excited to receive this as I had been looking for a baby monitor to use when Zac moved into his own room. There isn’t anywhere in his nursery where I could stand our current video monitor (To be honest I had been using this as an excuse as to why I couldn’t move him into his own room). But at 8 months old he was getting a little cramped in his Next2Me crib, so it was time to seriously start thinking about moving him into his own room.
The Lollipop baby camera was the perfect solution for us! There are multiple ways of securing or standing the camera. Like the name suggests the camera resembles a ‘lollipop’; it has a round camera on top and a long flexible ‘stick’ (that’s what I’m going to call it) which is used to secure your camera. The flexible stick can be bent, twisted and moulded to tie it on to a multitude of items. We tied ours round the bar on Zac’s cot. It is securely attached, all wires are hidden, he cannot pull it down and we can clearly see him while he sleeps!
The Lollipop Monitor unlike any baby monitor or camera that I have seen before. It is so much more than just a piece of equipment, It has such a unique design which also makes it a beautiful accessory. It comes in three gorgeous colours to match your nursery décor: turquoise, pink (cotton candy), yellow (Pistachio). We choice the turquoise and it looks amazing in Zac’s room!
It really is a ‘smart’ monitor as it comes with so many clever functions! As well as being a baby camera it also doubles as a white noise machine. You can choose whether to play your baby anything from womb sounds to Mozart !
I also love that it tracks all events throughout the night. It records all noises and ‘crying events’, so the following morning you can look back at the data history and see just how well (or not) your baby slept! When the monitor detects the baby crying it records a 30 second snippet which you can also play back. I find this feature particularly amusing at the weekend when it has been Ricky’s turn to get up with Zac during the night, I can then watch the videos of him wandering into his room half asleep during the night (I just find it satisfying seeing someone else lose out on sleep lol).
So to summarise we absolutely love The Lollipop Smart Monitor! It has absolutely everything we could want from a baby monitor. Oh and the picture quality is amazing!
Whilst we was gifted this camera, all of these words, thoughts and opinions are my own. We genuinely love this camera!
Thanks for reading!
